Glock 26 + 2 Extension - I love my Glock 27. It is an OD color that can be either green or brown depending on the lighting. Like many owners, I like its short grip for insurance, but feel like I could get a better grip on the G27 when things get tight. Enter GAP.
GAP Enterprises, Inc. A finger rest that replaces the ground pattern of the Glock magazine. Called the GAP Finger Rest Extension, it adds 1/2" of hard polymer material to the front lip of the magazine to act as a six-finger rest.

GAP's advanced design maintains a small footprint on the gun for maximum concealment. It's a compromise that works well in my opinion.

Gregory A. Pughe (GAP) designed the Finger Rest Extension to "gain improved draw, firing and recoil control while maintaining the concealment of the Glock 27". After reviewing Glock's frame, Pughe designed the GAP from a similar polymer material for strength and durability.
Depending on the size or exact failure, I find that the GAP keeps my ring finger from slipping on the butt while turning. Pressing my ring and pinky fingers around the GAP restricts a measurement, especially for double and triple taps. Since the .40 S&W is more sporting than the 9mm, I think the GAP is more specific to the larger caliber.
The GAP Finger Rest Extension is now available for Glock subcompact models 26, 27, 33 and 39. A two-pack of extensions retails for $19.95. If you don't take the Glock magazine apart, notice that the floor plate has two doors on either side of the magazine. There is pressure on both sides of the newspaper when trying to extract the floor plate. Many videos of this process are available on the Internet.
I replied with Mr. Pughe and he told me that another modification of GAP is working. Glocks in 9mm, .40 S&W, .357 Sig, and .45 GAP (Glock Auto Pistol) could be next, he said. I mr. Think of the interest some gun forums have generated for his products. I've seen mentions of GAP for the PM9 and its siblings on the Kahr forum and springsfields on other forums. Bugey said he has eight or nine models in mind, including the Springfield XT.
